During the 2021-2022 academic year I had the pleasure of teaching ceramics, painting, and printmaking to students (ages 5-15) at the Linden Community Center here in Columbus, OH. Below is their work throughout these classes!
I really try to encourage my students to experiment and follow their own artistic desires, while I teach them the techniques they can use to achieve what they want. These kids are able to use the studio space to express themselves and have a break from their day-to-day lives and so I really value their wants and encourage them to use the space as they see fit and express themselves.
